At first I was not impressed, but then discovered I was not applying it high enough on my lid. I have very oily upper eyelids and only like to wear a thin strip of eye shadow for everyday wear, so I was only applying the primer just above my lash line. Well the 1st couple of days, my shadow ran as usual. I then tried applying just the smallest amount to my entire lid almost up my eyebrow. What a difference this made. I put my primer on, let it dry a minute or so (this is when I brush my teeth), then apply my shadow at around 6:45am. After a full day at the office, a 5 mile bike ride in the heat, and a full body workout after, my eyeliner still is in place and looks great at 9pm!!! You only use the tiniest amount so this tube will last me forever. I could not be happier with this product, I would say if it does not work for you try applying the way I do as the color is perfect for my skin tone. I had bought a $50 eyeshadow palette and it was so frustrating that I had spent so much money on it when just after 2 hours of wear the colors smeared and faded, but with this eyeshadow primer my beautiful eyeshadow lasted all day long No smearing , No fading. You can even rub your finger across your eyelid and the eye shadow won't come off (I know cause I tried). This product would make $1 eye shadow wear and look like it was $50!
