If you fill these balloons with air, they will not float at all. As you may know, air is a dense gas, so it will weigh balloons down and make them stay on the floor. Helium, on the other hand is lighter than air, balloons filled with helium will typically rise higher, we estimate that the floating time will last from 8 to 12 hours. The use of a Hi-Float here has two functions : first, it will extend the floating time of your balloons up to 72 hours, second it will help confetti stick to the balloon wall and not fall to the bottom.
