A 7-Fold tie is how a tie was made before the cost-cutting techniques of today. Our handmade 7-Fold tie recaptures old-school artistry of yesteryear, with a modern-day approach and sophisticated, unique design. With over 2 years invested to curate the construction and design at our New York City shop, each Sebastien Grey tie is handcut and handsewn from 100% 16 momme twill silk fabric. We have cut no corners to create a tie that is neither digitized nor woven, but rather traditionally silk-screen printed. The point is, our ties are actually folded 7 times from high-quality fabrics, giving each tie a thickness and class that does not exist in ties today.
