Who should use this?
Everyone that has a computer!
Seriously, anyone who needs to backup data from multiple computers via the network should take advantage of the NetDISK 351UNE. It works well for media sharing to computers and has been recommended for virtual server backup. Data backup, file sharing and media file serving are the most popular uses for the NetDISK.

File System Tolerance
- File System Tolerance (FST) means that the operating system “sees” the NetDISK like an internal hard disk drive
- You can format and partition the NetDISK using your operating systems native tools, or with third party applications.
- Multiple partitions can be made with various file systems - NTFS, FAT32, HFS etc
- A standalone NetDISK can be removed from the LAN and connected by USB or eSATA with no need to reformat.
- Useful when maintaining a clone of your PC hard disk. The internal disk can be removed from the NetDISK and installed directly to a computer.
- MAC can run Time Machine backups to an HFS partition, Linux can Rsync to an EXT partition and Windows can utilize the NTFS type for standard operations.
