With over 400 patents worldwide Panasonic's exclusive Inverter Technology is the only microwave technology that offers real power level control.  Other conventional Microwave Ovens use Transformer Technology, simply blasting 100% power on & off (in alternate time cycles, on all power levels other than High) to control cooking power levels.  Inverter Technology delivers a continuous supply of power at variable power levels.

The benefits of cooking with Inverter Technology are accentuated through the use of graduated cooking sequences, which control power levels directly & thereby allows more cooking control.  For example, on a High power setting, power levels are gradually reduced once food has reached the optimum cooking temperature to achieve the best cooking results.
