The CCM Ribcor Platinum is a Source for Sports exclusive model that is based on the CCM Ribcor 46K skate. CCM adds upgrades to skate from higher models to add performance and visuals increasing the value and setting you apart. Coming over from Reebok, the CCM Ribcor line offers increased range of motion and added flexibility from its predecessor. One upgraded feature to help with this range of motion is the added Injection Tendon Flex Zone as well as the Rubber Flex Zone guard. This allows the tendon protection of the skate to flex better at the same time keeping you protected fully.
