The BraceAbility Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint is a lightweight foot support designed to provide a consistent and gentle stretch to the plantar fascia, achilles tendon, and the calf while one sleeps at night for optimal, proper healing for multiple conditions and injuries. Specifically, this night splint is great for treatment of the plantar fasciitis or achilles tendonitis. Plantar fasciitis refers to painful inflammation of the thick band of tissue that stretches across the bottom of one's foot, connecting the heel to the toes and forming the arch of the foot. Similarly, achilles tendonitis is a condition causing painful inflammation of a soft tissue of the foot at the back of the ankle. In addition to treatment to various conditions and injuries, the night splint is great for helping with tight calf muscles that can contribute to further injury if not treated. The lightweight design of the night splint makes the foot brace a comfortable fit without interfering with the quality of one's sleep during the healing process. This plantar fasciitis night splint holds the foot in a mild dorsiflexion, which stretches the plantar fascia while sleeping. The night splint features a universal design, fitting both men and women on both the left and right foot. In addition, the night splint includes an optional wedge insert to provide an extra five degrees of toe and foot pad flexion if needed during treatment of various conditions. The plantar fascia night splint is available in three sizes ranging from small to large, fitting both men's and women's shoe sizes. The night splint features a unique slip resistant sole, and easily adjustable velcro straps for maximum comfort while sleeping. The front of the night splint is largely open for increased breathability and comfort while sleeping at night.
