SE is proud to present this 8” 4-Way Rasp File with a diameter of 3/4”. A rasp is a tool used for shaping wood or other materials, and usually consists of a point with a certain formation of cross-hatched ‘teeth’, a long steel bar or the belly, the heel or bottom, then the tang. The tang is joined to a handle, usually made of plastic or wood.

In this case, the plastic handle has been replaced and modified with an additional riffling surface. This 4-way rasp replaces the inconvenience of multiple rasps, and combines them into one tool, allowing for quick and easy transition with the desirable application. The first end of this rasp is flat with a wooden rasp on one side and coarse cut file on the opposite side. The second end of this rasp is half-round with a wooden rasp on one side and a coarse cut file on the opposite side. What makes this tool unique are its two shapes?flat and half-round?making it a great choice to have instead of a set or multiple rasps.
