PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 3. Filling the water cup instructions -Remove the top part by lifting straight upward. (See figure 1). -Fill the water cup with cool， fresh water， it is better to use the filtered water for better humidity performance. DO NOT FILLWITH WARM WATER AS THIS MAY CAUSE LEAKING. DAILYMAINTENANCE ?Before cleaning， turn the power to OFF and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. ?Remove the top part. ?Carry the water cup to a sink， then drain and rinse the water cup thoroughly to remove any sediment and dirt. Wipe clean and dry with a clean soft cloth or paper towel. ?Refill the water cup with cool tap water as instructed in filling the water cup instructions. CAUTION OF MAINTENANCE ?Make sure top part is never submerged into water ?Do not use any solvents or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the appliance. ?Clean the inner parts with a soft cloth. ?Only use the brush to clean the transducer. This should be done once a week. ?Only use the soft-bristle portion of the brush. ?Change the water in the water cup each day. TROUBLE SHOOTING If your humidifier is not working correctly please check the following causes: Humidifier does not operate. The power is on， but there is no mist The power is on， but the humidifier doesn��t work The output volume of the mist is low Abnormal noise Power cable not plugged in No water in water cup Absorbent cotton doesn��t absorb water fully Dirty water or the water is left in the water cup for too long. Check if the spring inside the sleeve if lost， or if absorbent cotton installed in place Too much water in the water flume The transducer is dirty. Water is too dirty or water kept too long in the cup Resonant in water cup when water is too less Unit is on an unstable surface Plug in power cable. Fill cup with water Take it out and put it into water to absorb water fully then install again Clean the water cup and change the water.
