Suggestions: With the batteries out of both display and sensor.Also ensure the batteries are dated 7 years in advance.Have the display and remote temperature sensor 3 to 5 feet apart. Put the batteries in the remote sensor first then display secondary. Without touching any buttons for 15 minutes, then the outside temperature should be displayed. Now you can place the sensor outside properly, ideally on the north side old house under an eve.
