If you accidentally leave a letter out, it is very easy to slide it off and replace with a metal clothes hanger.

The flags can be easily painted or personalized with acrylic paint or decorated with a marker, fabric pen, or sharpie. The surface of the canvas-like material is not overly see-through and paint adheres well in one coat. It works great with iron on or heat transfer vinyl, or stencils. You can also use tapes, pins, or ribbons to attach photos, paper, or stickers. With a glue gun, you can even affix wood numbers or signs to the banners.
