Good when you want a little more than the sheet on air conditioned nights. However, not heavy or dense enough for Autumn/Winter. Will keep for next Spring/Summer, but continue to look for a thicker, warmer blanket for cooler nights without increasing the heat thermostat. Since California King size bedding is more difficult to find and more expensive, I tried King. It is "doable" but turned one way, it's a little too long on each side of the bed and not really enough material to tuck in at the bottom of the mattress; turned the other way; a little too short on each side of the bed, but ample to tuck in at the bottom of the mattress. I have to have a blanket even in the summer, and he is always hot. This is the perfect blanket especially for spring and summer. VERY light weight but still cozy and warm. When he throws it off it is not so bulky that it takes up the whole bed. I was worried that the mink color and the texture would really catch and show cat hair but it doesn't! I wanted something lightweight yet attractive. I was very happy when this blanket arrived. The color is beautiful. It is trimmed in a satin material. The blanket has good lenght and width, it covers the queen sized bed perfectly. It is light enough to use with other blankets but sufficiently warm enough to use alone. The price is wonderful for the quality of the product. I chose the ivory color and it was true to the website picture. My only complaint would be the amount of shedding it did after it's first drying cycle, but the consecutive washes have decreased the amount of fuzz that comes off. The material is incredibly soft, and the smooth trim around the edges of the blanket are a nice touch. It has proved to be just as good as everyone said it is. It is very lightweight and very soft and cuddly. But it keeps me warm without getting too warm. I am post menapausal and I overheat easily (also get cold easily). This blanket has proved too be perfect for me.
