All Bulb Sockets are NOT Created Equal
Bulb sockets can be in various places within the interior lamp. Some come from the side, while others come from the back of the lamp.

Most venders try to make up for this by offering 360°-style LED, which shine in all directions like halogen. However, these lights do not shine as bright, and cast an improper light pattern, resulting in spotty dim light. This is because their 360° design distributes light in every direction, instead of the proper direction.
