Chambered Tiger Nautilus seashell as it is more commonly known is termed as Nautilus Pompilius.The nautilus is a mollusk and a member of the cephalopod family. And the nautilus is closely related to other cephalopods such as the squid, cuttlefish, and octopus. And just like any cephalopods, living nautilius can travel at high speed in excess of 2 knots as it uses its jet propulsion to move. This interesting-looking chambered nautilus is also known to many as a living fossil. One of the most recognizable Cephalopods and have been around for over 500 million years! This is the best known nautilus.
