The charging cable was defective. Contacted Cheerwing per instructions on product page. Cheerwing sent a replacement cable immediately. Quadcopter itself is all that this beginner wanted. It's easy to learn because it maintains its altitude while I play/learn the other controls. Video has a slight delay in it but good quality when saved. I've crashed it into trees and onto the ground and nothing has broken so far.
