Within 20 minutes of opening and playing with this item, my son broke one of the axles...which pretty much ruins the whole toy, since the axle is used for most of the tire/catepillar changes. I called Mattel and they issued me a merchandise credit that I could then go to the store with to buy any Mattel product up to $16. We actually bought the same item, now we have extra pieces with more combinations possible. He owns all the sets including this one that are being sold. We've had only 2 pieces that broke, and he takes them apart over and over again.
