"Integrated Filter" = BottleneckDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This product has an "integrated Filter" inside the wax candle tip that goes into the ear. It acts as a bottle neck defeating the efficacy of the candle. Wally's claims it is a "Safety Feature" but I think it is just a money making feature because you need four Wally's candles to get the effect of one candle without the integrated filter. Anyone who says this worked for them needs to know that the filter-less candles will cut down their time and cost and give a better ear clearing. Was this review helpful? Since I was a child, my brothers and I have always had issues with our ears. An old Indian women used to make these cones (a lot bigger and made by hand) that were the only thing that helped us and took away the earaches and wax build up, and it also pulls out the moisture in your ears. I can not tell you how great they are, you need to try them for yourself. As for the positioning of the candle in your ear, I put it horizontal and the just slightly moved it until it was in the ear canal~when it is in correctly, you will hear the suction. I used 3 candles in one ear and I cut open the candle to see what it pulled out, crazy how this works but the wax comes out in chunks! I had my friend help me,she had a small bowl of water that she held under the top of the candle and cut off the ashes as it burned down ( KEEP the candle in your ear as this is done, don't break the suction). My advice to those who are nervous about the fire.. lay your head down on the table or a flat surface that's comfortable and pull your hair back - place a pillow case over your hair leaving only the ear sho
