After reading the eye-opening book "No More Dirty Looks," about the toxic chemicals in many common beauty product, I decided to try one of the shampoos they recommended. This product is so non-toxic you could probably eat it, though it wouldnt taste good Im sure. Lacking chemicals, it doesnt lather very well, and it smells a bit like grandmas health food store -- the fragrance would be my biggest dislike of the product.

However, it is an amazing shampoo. I normally have to shampoo every other day, and on the "off" day Ill wear my hair up, because it already looks stringy and flat. This shampoo gives me fresh, bouncy, soft hair that looks "just washed" for three full days. I am also losing far less hair in the shower than I used t. Im astounded how good my hair looks!

So, Im happily buying my second bottle and writing this review. I can also recommend their conditioner, which is a fabulous product, period. Give them a try -- you wont miss the chemicals!VSMost Liked Negative Review

This product is great. Dont expect a lot of lather ........ and at first I wondered if it was cleaning my hair, since it doesnt suds. It rinsed off easily and my hair was clean, shiny and soft. It looks fuller and I am totally satisfied with this product and will continue to use it.

Even tho no sodium larel sulfate your hair is overly squeeky clean which makes me think it is still very stripping. I plan on keeping this but there is nothing about this item that sets it above the rest

It doesnt lather well, but thats ok if it cleans and it felt squeaky clean. But I was very disappointed when after drying and styling (I blow dry and use a few hot curlers) that my hair felt sticky. I have now used it three times and IF you are going to use this shampoo rinse well for best results - I mean really rinse well. The smell was ok but not wow I love this smell. I will not get again and am still in search of a good natural shampoo.

The shampoo looked weird and it was an odd yellow color. It smelled a bit like chamomile tea- not bad. When it hit my wet hair in the shower, though, the whole bathroom began to smell like menthol chest rub. Oh dear! You had to use a ton to lather it u but my main concern was the unintended sinus treatment. Egads! YUCK, YUCK, YUCK! I washed my hair with another shampoo right after but the awful smell remained. Went in the garbage. Too bad.

Comments about Aubrey Organics Camomile Luxurious Volumizing Shampoo, 16 fl oz:Unfortunately, this product didnt work for me at all. I dont have hard to manage hair. I am wash & go, no color, etc - and this made my hair feel like sand paper. I could barely get my fingers through it while rinsing.

The conditioner improved that a bit, but, but was like putting body lotion in my hair and it didnt condition to the extent that I could run my fingers through my hair easily after rinsing. Sadly, I was very disappointed.
