You are able to install before OR after tile installation!*** Instructions for Installing a Floating Shelf: Installation can be completed in four simple steps, and requires minimal tools to complete the job. You will need the supplied template, a multi-tool or wall saw, and adhesive caulk. Here is the process: Use the supplied template to mark the areas for grooves to cut out. Use a multi-tool or wall saw to cut the grooves on the drywall. Use a tile saw with a diamond blade for tiles or other hard walls. Test fit the glass shelf before applying the adhesive caulking. Apply solid color paintable caulking and insert the shelf in place. Clean any excess caulking with a damp sponge.
