Lowa Tibet GTX Product Description
This 9'' hard-duty backpacking boot is ideal for carrying heavy (50+ lbs.) loads, over long distances in rugged terrain and extreme weather conditions. The ankle has been slightly improved with a softer flex than the original Tibet. Seamless, waterproof GORE-TEX® lining reduces hot spots. Perforations in the boot''s lining allows air to enter, pumping heat and moisture back out.Patent pending tongue stud allows for better pressure distribution. The C4 tongue is anatomically contoured to cradle the foot in comfort. Flexfit provides more natural ankle flex and heel fit plus improved stability. Balance footbed with breathable top layer and slow reacting foam provides fit customization. Transports moisture away from the foot, minimizes friction and reduces fatigue.The PU midsole with SPS Dynamic is designed to help control over-pronation and supination, reducing fatigue and potential injury when covering long distances. The 5mm nylon stabilizer is full length and width with a PU layer for total support underfoot. Features a high wall rubber rand and is strap-on crampon compatible.
Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.
