To ensure the air/water tight seal, press the eCap onto the jar and use your palm to push down around the edges until the cap is flush with the rim of the jar. The cap will grip that jar tightly when sealed There should be no room between the top of the cap and rim of the jar. It is also possible to pinch the eCap skirt and pull down while working your way around the jar to achieve the air/water tight seal. Perfect for storing food in bulk in pantries or freezers.
