What makes the Nikon P340 even more versatile is the 5x optical zoom covering the wide angle from 24mm-120mm (35mm format equivalent). The Dynamic Fine Zoom* (approximately 240mm equivalent in 35mm format) also allows you to zoom up to 10x without any visible decline in image quality.

The Nikon P340 comes with the COOLPIX Picture Control, which gives you the liberty to set your preferences to capture your desired shot. Choose from different settings like Standard Neutral, Vivid and Monochrome to bring your creativity to life. The Multiple Exposure feature lets you overlay three separate images giving your photos an interesting and unique look. With enhanced Filter Effects; choose from Photo Illustration, Portrait with monochrome background, Soft Portrait and other effects to give your pictures a fun twist.

Available in white and black, this nifty camera weighs approximately 194g (including batteries, SD memory card) so you can bring it to just about anywhere you wish to. The high-speed USB charging recharges in 1 hour and 50 minutes to allow you to share more pictures, more often.

Bright optical lens and large image sensor in a compact body

The bright NIKKOR f/1.8 lens provides greater light intake for clearly defined images. When shooting scenes even at 24 mm* wide-angle, the 7-blade iris diaphragm enables beautifully de-focused backgrounds or bokeh. High resolution is assured with 12.2 effective megapixels. And, the large 1/1.7-in. Backside illumination CMOS image sensor delivers low-noise images even in dark locations when sensitivity is boosted. Lens-shift VR (Vibration Reduction) provides an effect equivalent to a shutter speed 3.5 stops faster** for less blurry images, and is equipped with ACTIVE mode to minimize camera shake, such as when shooting while walking. COOLPIX Picture Control allows selection of desired settings prior to shooting, according to the subject, shooting conditions, or photographer’s intention.

Control ring for superior operability

Swiftly apply your own personal touch with the Control ring which enables intuitive manual focusing, as well as adjustment of Zoom memory, ISO sensitivity, white balance, shutter speed, aperture, and exposure compensation, with a simple twist. This Control ring also lets you operate Scene modes and Special effects. Together with the Function button, Command dial and Rotary multi selector, it boosts overall operability of the camera.

Enjoy a clear view even outdoors with the large 7.5 cm/3-in. RGBW LCD monitor. Pictures you’ve taken can be wirelessly transferred to a smart device with Wi-Fi® connectivity. Likewise, remote control of the camera from the smart device is also possible. A built-in 3-step ND filter, as well as zoom memory, lens position select, and user setting registration improve usability overall, while the supplied AC adapter assures high-speed battery charging.
