My big let down came when I received the order, the curtain is a dark tan. I wasn't expecting it to be so dark. We bought this as a back drop for my daughters open closet for her to change behind. I'm not sure how the black velvet stuff would hold up in a moist enviornment such as a shower. It's more of an ecru color as opposed to off-white. The material is a little too paper thin for me. Am used to having my shower curtains a bit more substantial.
