Put some in palm and directly apply to the skin. Massage gently to remove makeup. Can be used on eye and lip areas. Rinsing off with lukewarm water. For better result, apply it to dry skin.

The very essential skincare step is cleansing and I specially concern about makeup removing. It will be a "disaster" if the makeup residue is left on the skin as eventually, it will clog the pores, that will certainly trigger blackheads and blemish problems, and create dullness to the skin. Even though a load of skincare products are used, it won't help a lot as the skin is unable to absorb the nutrients of the products.

I am using a lot of makeup removers but when it comes to my favorites, Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil definitely wins my vote. This product is the best selling cleansing oil in Japan and Hong Kong. the SA did a demo for me at the store, by first applying mascara, lipstick and concealer to my hand, and then using MCO to gently cleanse it off! amazingly enough, ALL the make up came off with a couple minutes of gentle massaging and simple rinsing of water!!!

i attempted a similar experiment at home: by using my most waterproof Marjolica mascara (y'all should know how hard that thing is to get off your eyelashes), K-Palette eyeliner, and an eyeshadow!

here's my hand, with three different kinds of makeup on it.

i used one pump of MCO, (which was too much for my hand actually!) and started massaging gently by rubbing in circular motions with my fingers!

the MCO is colorless, and fragrance free by the way! massage for a couple of minutes, and just rinse off with water! the oil will turn milky white from being emulsified, and it's easy to rinse it off thoroughly after that.

after cleansing with the MCO, it leaves my skin soft and clean, without that uncomfortable feeling of the skin being stripped of moisture, like you get with cleansers that are too harsh!

i then tried the MCO on my face, and it worked just as well to remove my makeup thoroughly, leaving my face feeling baby soft!

close up, i removed my makeup on the left of my face, and you can see that all traces of my eye shadow, eye liner and mascara are all gone! not to mention my powder and foundation!

just to go through the steps again:
1) use 1-2 pumps of MCO, and massage gently all over your face, with circular motions, for a couple of minutes!
2) rinse off thoroughly with luke warm water!

usually, i'd use my regular cleanser after the MCO, in order to make sure my skin is cleansed thoroughly :) so while your face is still wet, just use your regular cleanser to remove any residue of the cleansing oil, then wash off and pat your face dry with a towel!

i assure you, you'll definitely feel the difference in your skin texture, like how i did mine! love the velvety baby soft texture after cleansing with MCO, no more uncomfortable tight or dry feeling! :D :D :D

REVIEW

Step 1: Removing makeup

Put 2 pumps or 50-cent coin size and let it sit for a few seconds. No cotton wool/ pad is required during cleansing but in this experiment I’d just use a cotton wool so that it’d be less messy.

Step 2: Be Amazed

When I first started using it few weeks ago, I fell in love with it immediately.
