The talus pro gtx bridges the gap between a durable, all-leather backpacking boot and a svelte, performance-driven hiker tuned for speed. For grip we craft the talus upper onto a vibram nuasi sole, with a grippy xstrek rubber compound. Molded polyurethane in the midsole gives the cushioning of a running shoe, but with enough support to portage a 40-pound pack. Full-grain, 2.0mm leather requires zero break-in and fronts a gore-tex waterproof, breathable membrane.
