It can be used two different ways, as a cleanser or as a mask. I used it both ways, although I preferred the mask. I really like this product! After I applied the mask, I felt a cool, almost peppermint like sensation on my face. It was wonderful! I could actually feel it cleaning my face. You leave it on for about 5 minutes. I did it while I was in the shower. Afterwards my face was so soft and I could just tell it looked cleaner and felt smoother. Also, I have 2 teenage sons, who are experiencing that dreaded teen acne, and I have a hard time getting them to use anything. I talked them into trying the cleanser. They were impressed with how much cleaner their faces felt. They prefer the cleanser method. I can honestly say I will definitely be using this from now on. Its like having 2 products in one! I just can't get past how clean it left my face! This product really draws out impurities, and I can feel my skin tingling after using it. But all in all, this is a very strong cleanser that cleans pores well. Effectiveness This product has a very strong formula that really goes down deep to remove excess sebum and dirt that may cause future breakouts. It really shrinks whiteheads that are already on the skin and clean out pores to prevent blackheads. Ease of Application This is a while, creamy cleanser that spreads on skin like butter. Convenience Side Effects The only downside to this cleanser is it is extremely drying, especially in winter. It caused me to get some patches of dry skin here and there because it removed a lot of my skin's natural oils along with sebum that causes breakouts. Immediacy This product really goes down deep to purify your skin, preventing future breakouts and clearing out blackheads, and it also shrinks and minimizes current breakouts quickly.
