CHUCK TAYLOR ALL STAR ORIGINS
Created in 1917 as a non-skid basketball shoe, the All Star was originally promoted for its superior court performance by basketball mastermind Chuck Taylor. But over the decades, something incredible happened: The sneaker, with its timeless silhouette and unmistakable ankle patch, was organically adopted by rebels, artists, musicians, dreamers, thinkers and originals.

FIND YOUR CONVERSE SIZE
MEASURE YOUR FEET
Converse sizing is unique and sneaker specific. The Chuck Taylor All Star Dainty usually fits closer to your actual size. They are slightly smaller than the Classic Chuck, being narrower and of a lower profileBe sure to use the size chart associated with each product.
Wear the type of socks you'll wear with your sneakers and measure feet in the afternoon (feet typically swell during the day). Distribute weight evenly before measuring.
STEP 1
Stand up straight on a hard surface with your heel against the wall and a piece of blank paper taped to the floor, flush against the wall beneath your foot.
STEP 2
Have someone mark the longest part of your foot (referred to as heel-to-toe length) on the paper with a pen or pencil, or measure yourself if necessary. Repeat with the other foot, as right and left sizes may be different.
STEP 3
Use a ruler to measure the heel-to-toe length you marked for each foot.
