Do not use softener

It does not soften the fibers themselves.

For this reason, Imabari towel which was softly woven from the beginning does not feel much effect, but on the contrary, oily coating on the surface may cause water absorption to decline, fibers may slip and pile may come off.

Do not dry in the sun

Although it seems to dry softly when dried out on a fine day in the weather, in fact it is too dry beyond the cotton's original possession moisture, the fluffy towel may become hard at once.

The best recommendation is the shade of the day in a well-ventilated area.

Raise the pile before drying
