Simply raise your saw blade through the insert to create a ''kerf'' which precisely matches the blade on your saw. This 1/2'' thick insert is precision machined from a nearly frictionless melamine faced, high density phenolic laminate. It offers durability and flatness unobtainable from cheaper plastic inserts. Features like top mounted set screws for precise leveling, front/side adjustment screws for perfect side to side and front to rear fit, and a rear safety pin that keeps the rear of the insert in place, make this the best insert we have ever seen. Sheet stock material (1/2'' x 11'' x 15'') is perfect for creating your own custom jigs and fixtures. Craftsman insert measures 14'' x 3-3/4'' and fits most new, 10'' belt drive models.
