Finding out about those sample bundles that have allowed me to not only try, but use some high-end Korean brands, was a game changer for me. I'd say that about half of my current routine consists of such products which I would never be able to afford otherwise.
I bid on eBay, or just pick up a ten-to-twenty-pack of samples of products which I then decant into jars, bottles-with-droppers, airless pump thingies, you name it. It all makes the samples a whole lot easier to use, and I don't have to mess around with the little sample packs.
Unless I get a bunch of stuff in small bottles. Those are truly convenient.

An AB favorite and a baseball favorite in one photo
I got a 5 ml jar of the Sulwhasoo Essential Firming Cream in a small set along with 4 ml of their First Care Activating Serum (which, to the best of my knowledge, is the equivalent of a first treatment essence or FTE.) I used up the latter a while ago and am planning to get more because it's a fabulous product.
According to the brand's US website, this is a "firming cream that nourishes the skin from deep within to restore resilience."
Furthermore,
The ingredient is incredibly long, but CosDNA doesn't reveal any major red flags.
WATER, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, CETYL ETHYLHEXANOATE, PVP, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, GLYCERYL STEARATE, OCTYLDODECANOL, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, GLYCYRRHIZA URALENSIS (LICORICE) ROOT EXTRACT, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, OPHIOPOGON JAPONICUS ROOT EXTRACT, PAEONIA ALBIFLORA ROOT EXTRACT, NELUMBO NUCIFERA SEED EXTRACT, POLYGONATUM OFFICINALE RHIZOME/ROOT EXTRACT, LILIUM TIGRINUM FLOWER/LEAF/STEM EXTRACT, REHMANNIA GLUTINOSA ROOT EXTRACT, CHRYSANTHEMUM MORIFOLIUM FLOWER EXTRACT, PAEONIA SUFFRUTICOSA ROOT EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, ADENOPHORA STRICTA ROOT EXTRACT, LYCIUM CHINENSE ROOT EXTRACT, COIX LACRYMA-JOBI MA-YUEN SEED EXTRACT, ANGELICA TENUISSIMA ROOT EXTRACT, HONEY, GINKGO BILOBA LEAF EXTRACT, ASTRAGALUS MEMBRANACEUS ROOT EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, PORTULACA OLERACEA EXTRACT, BETA-GLUCAN, LIMNANTHES ALBA (MEADOWFOAM) SEED OIL, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, MANGIFERA INDICA (MANGO) SEED BUTTER, JOJOBA ESTERS, HYDROGENATED OLIVE OIL LAURYL ESTERS, STEARIC ACID, PEG-100 STEARATE, DIMETHICONE, COPERNICIA CERIFERA (CARNAUBA) WAX, PALMITIC ACID, PHYTOSTERYL/BEHENYL/OCTYLDODECYL LAUROYL GLUTAMATE, POLYACRYLATE-13, GLYCERIN, CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE, POLYISOBUTENE, PROPANEDIOL, CAFFEINE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, POLYSORBATE 20, STEARYL BEHENATE, POLYGLYCERYL-3 METHYLGLUCOSE DISTEARATE, HYDROXYPROPYL BISPALMITAMIDE MEA, INULIN LAURYL CARBAMATE, DISODIUM EDTA, PHENOXYETHANOL, FRAGRANCE
Phew.

Even though my skin (and especially my closed comedones) doesn't like dimethicone, and it is included on the list, I assume it's present in small enough amounts where it doesn't clog my pores, so that's a definite plus, for me.
Whether you purchase the full-size, pricey product, or go for the much cheaper sample bundles, your skin will thank you.
Pre-AB, when my face was constantly covered in a thick layer of oil, I probably wouldn't have used this cream. See, it's very soft (I almost said "fluffy," which it really isn't, and yet I feel like it wouldn't be an awful adjective to use,) but it's not a light cream by any means. Still today (when I like to think of my skin as "normal," which I never thought I would,) I prefer to use it at night, even though I am pretty sure I could get away with it during the day in the colder months.
It doesn't make my skin oily. It does take a minute or two to fully absorb, and it makes my skin so soft that I keep touching it (yeah, I know, great idea...)
The cream does have a very strong smell (think "sweet and spicy," if you will,) which doesn't bother me, but I understand that it might irritate others. The smell doesn't stick around, though, and you need only a little of this cream, anyway; trust me, it will go a long way. Which helps if you end up paying allthatmoney for the full-size product.

I have only been using it for a couple of weeks, but my skin is very happy with it. It hasn't caused any issues, and my face is brighter, dare I say younger-looking. No, this is not plastic surgery in a bottle, but if you're like most people I know who are into Asian Beauty products and pay very close attention to your skin, I am positive this is one of those products that will produce visible results within a relatively short amount of time.
I know, I know, YMMV... And it is true. However, I do encourage you to give this cream a try and see for yourself how your skin likes it. I hope you will be as happy with it as I am.
Recommend? Absolutely. It is very expensive to buy a full-size product, but there are lots of very affordable sample options out there.

I am sure that many of you know about this popular Sulwhasoo Firming Cream.
I also bought it at the duty free shop recently because a lot of people were saying that it's a great product. I am here to write my review because I am actually experiencing the effects. :)
Even though Sulwhasoo Firming Cream is a product that is quite popular among those people who are in their thirties or forties, it's a product that I want to strongly recommend for those people who lacks moisture on their skin and also those people who are losing flexibility of the skin.
Even though Sulwhasoo Firming Cream is sort of expensive,
I think it's definitely worth its price.
Doesn't the design look very neat just like how an oriental cosmetics should be?

There is nothing really special about the content of this Sulwhasoo Firming Cream. The texture is quite similar to other creams. However, it's a little more rich than ordinary creams.
It can be sort of disturbing for those people who have oily skin.
However, I personally think everyone should have a product like this one in a weather like these.

You can use the product in a very convenient way because it has a spatula in it.
This applies the same on other products, but it would have been so much better if they designed it in a way so that the users can store the spatula in a more convenient way.
It has the unique oriental fragrance of Sulwhasoo and I really like it because it's not very disturbing.

I spread the appropriate amount on the back of my hand and absorbed into the skin.
It applied on the skin very smoothly and quickly,
and it seemed to provide outstanding moisturizing effects.
The skin became a lot more moist and flexible.
However, the sense of residues can be a little disturbing after it gets absorbed into the skin.
In cases like this, I think you can use the Hemicha Essence together.

This is Hechima Essence that I am going to use it together with Sulwhasoo's product.
You do not have to worry about the harmful ingredients because it's a product that only contains natural ingredients. It's one of my favorite products because it enhances the flexibility of the overall skin. You can see amazing effects just by using this product regularly when your skin lacks flexibility.
You should apply Sulwhasoo Firming Cream on your entire face before applying Hechima Essence. I think you can apply it when you are applying the skin & lotion after washing your face.  Even though my skin feels a lot more flexible after using the product, I shouldn't forget to apply Hechima Essence to relieve the sense of oil.
It is a product that consists of high moisturizing ingredients, such as hechima fermentation solubles, tocopherol and pea extracts. It's not a product that's sticky like many other products. It's actually a transparent liquid type product that is very clean.

Also, you can use it as a substitute of an eye cream.
Hechima Essence is a product that can be used for a variety of purposes and it can also be used when you are trying to provide flexibility on you entire face, whereas ordinary eye creams can only be used on the areas near your eyes.

The smooth feeling and the quick absorption are the product's two biggest advantages.
I usually use this Hechima Essence before I go outside because it provides immediate flexibility to the skin and also because it lasts for a very long time, whereas those products that are in the market do get absorbed into the skin quickly and don't last very long on your skin.

You can take care of your skin very carefully with this Hechima Essence before applying Sulwhasoo Firming Cream.
You can simply pump it twice or three times and absorb it into the skin because it's a pumping type product. I did some intensive care on the areas near my eyes, which is one of the most fragile areas on your body.

After it got absorbed, it made my rough and dry skin chewy and
flexible as the content got absorbed into the skin very well.
I really liked it because it was sticky after it dried up and also because I was not able to feel the sense of residues. You should be able to feel a clean and refreshing feeling if you use it before applying the moisturizing cream as the last product for your basic care.

This is after doing the care on my face with Sulwhasoo Firming Cream.
It feels like the flexibility of my skin is going to be restored if I use it regularly like this.
I was sort of worried because my skin was getting very rough and dry.
But I guess i won't have to worry about it anymore as long as I have Sulwhasoo Firming Cream and Hechima Essence. I strongly recommend it for those people who are worried about their skin's flexibility just like me.
