Designed and engineered with a standard conical v-shape for most common engraving and marking applications. Excellent for engraving applications in most materials. AlTiN coatings are high performance and versatile. Has a higher breakdown temperature while maintaining high surface hardness at elevated temperatures. This coating promotes tool life and allows for faster speeds and feeds. Applicable with oxidation temperatures up to 800° C to 1450° F. Best suited for alloys steels, stainless steels, tool steels, nickel alloys, titanium, and dry machining applications.
