Pharmacological actions:
Herbicough^® syrup is a combination of mucolytic and expectorant which reduces the mucus viscosity in the bronchial tract area by breaking down the mucoprotein and acidic mucopolysaccharide in the sputum, thus facilitating expectoration. The containing effective volatile oils form a protective layer over the mucus membrane of the pharynx, larynx and trachea, thereby relief mechanical irritation of the receptors and preventing the cough reflex. This cough syrup also contains extracts of anti-microbial herbs for the prevention of inflammation due to bacterial and virus infections.

Indications:
Symptomatic relief of various kinds of cough

Dosage:
For 2 to 12 years – 5 ml four times daily
For above 12 years – 15 ml four times daily
