This bra compresses and stabilizes, but does not support or encapsulate. It does not have "cups", per se. It's more like a cami-shaped Ace bandage. In the gym, it will do just fine for yoga, tai chi, stretching, cycling, etc. If you're more than a B cup, it's not enough for aerobics or tennis. Outside the gym, if you like a flat front with no cleavage or bosom-ness, this is a good casual choice to wear under t-shirts or snug shirts. It's a remarkably comfortable bra. And the price is awesome. I've become a real Danskin fan since I started losing weight 9 months (and 60 pounds) ago. I like the fact that Danskin clothing compresses my loose flab without being as unyielding as "shapewear". And the prices are low enough that I can replace things when they get too big to continue altering the elastic. These bras have been a godsend for me. At every size, they have been a good honest fit (though like all Danskins, they run one size smaller than similar products from other manufacturers) and worth the $5 per bra. The photo below is me wearing this item under Danskin leggings and shirt, with a Faded Glory sweater -- looking darned good for a 52-year-old clergy woman in $5 clothes! Was this review helpful?Yes (220)No (0)ReportNursing bra alternative5/17/2016Average rating:4out of5stars, based onreviews5/17/2016by MeganI am 2 months postpartum and use this for nursing/around the house. It's plenty flexible to pop my boob out, but still firm and supportive. I am a 34-36DDD depending on the bra. I have a difficult time finding bras that fit, most DDD are for heavier women with a 40+ band, which I'm not. After reading reviews I decided I was an XL and thank goodness it fit. I might have been able to go up a size, but I can't say for sure. Very soft and looks nice too. Will buy again. Was this review helpful?Yes (41)No (1)ReportRead all reviews
