All people love the the taste of nutrition-added ramyun!!

Nongshim discovered the belief that 'ramyun is an instant food' through the results of consumer research on the requirements of further advanced ramyun than existing ramyun. To improve its image, we searched for something recognized as being healthy amid Korean traditional soup dishes. Consequently, we judged ox bone soup to be the most proper one which retains the concept of recuperation only by eating broth soup. Ox bone soup is favored by most Koreans. Considering the normal eating habits, adding seasoned chili sauce into ox bone soup, we were convinced that it would go with ramyun. Especially, ox bone soup should be made to have an enriched flavor and not to smell like ox bone and beef. However, the existing facilities retained by Nongshim were limited in recreating the original flavor of ox bone soup. This is why we introduced the 'cooking method of high temperature in a cauldron' for the first time in Korea, utilizing new facilities using cauldrons. The low-temperature concentration method minimizes loss of flavor and nutrition of the natural ingredients. The ‘ZEO dry’ method captures the scent of the ingredients. These advanced methods realize the refreshing flavor of cabbage leaves or radish. Under the goal of 'Let's make ramyun whose popular flavor is combined with nutrition', all employees of Nongshim made efforts and Shin Ramyun Black was born.


12Chapaghetti


Features of Product

Chapaghetti was released in 1984 as ramyun-style chajang noodles. The TV advertisement and CM song 'On Sunday, I am the chef for Chapaghetti became a great hit loved by the nation.

The noodles are thick, smooth and chewy. Chajang soup made of chunjang and onion is delicious and offers the thick flavor of the original Chajang. Plentiful flakes of carrot, onion and meat and premium olive oil arouse the appetite. 

The product is great for eating when you don’t feel like eating!

Basic Recipe for Product

[Chapaghetti]

1. Put noodles and vegetable soup into the boiling water (600ml) and simmer for 5 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and leave 6~7 spoons of water and then add soup base and vegetable oil and stir well and serve.

 

[ChapaghettiI Bumbuk]

Open the lid up to the arrow mark. Add liquid soup base to the noodles and pour boiling water (170ml) up to the inside line. Close the lid and after 4 minutes stir well. 

 

[Chapaghetti Big Bowl]

Open the lid up to the arrow mark. Add soup base on noodles and pour boiling water (280ml) up to the inside line. Close the lid and after 4 minutes stir well. 

 

[Sichuan Chapaghetti]

1. Boil 600ml of water (3 cups). Add noodles and flakes and boil for another 5 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and drain water except for 8 spoons. Add soup base and oil seasoning then stir well. 

 

[Sichuan Chapaghetti Big Bowl]

1. Open the lid up to the arrow mark and take out powder and oil soup. Pour boiling water (450ml) up to the inside line. 

2. Close the lid and steam noodles for 4 minutes. Then stir well. 

3. Punch holes at "+" on the lid with chopsticks and drain water except for 7 spoons (50ml).

4. Add powder and oil soup base and stir well.

Basic Recipe for Product

[Udon Noodle Soup (bowl)]

1. Place noodles in bowl after removing from package.

2. Add enough hot water to cover the noodles. Wait for 2 minutes with lid closed.

3. Loosen the noodles slightly. Carefully drain water through the holes with lid closed.

4. Add soup base and flakes. Pour hot water up to the inside line. Close the lid. 

5. Wait for 1 minute and serve.

[Udon Noodle Soup (bag)]

1. Boil 400ml (about 1 2/3 cups) of water.

2. Cook noodles for 2 minutes

3. Add soup base and flakes.

4. Stir and serve.

[Garlic Teriyaki]

1. Remove noodles from clear package and place them in container.

2. Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds.

3. Empty flakes and sauce into container. 

4. Stir well until noodles are evenly coated with sauce and serve. 

[Japanese Style Udon (spicy flavor, yaki udon flavor)]

1) Boil 400ml (about 2 cups) of water. Add noodled and flakes and boil for another 1 minute. 

2) Strain noodles and vegetable flakes and put into pot again. 

3) Add paste soup and fry with noodles for 1 minute. Place in a dish and serve.
