The were comfortable and the racerback was ideal for my many summer tops. Unfortunately when I returned home to wash them...like I do with all of my intimates (in a lingerie bag and on a gentle cycle), they were destroyed. The padding was dented so badly and the lace was bunched beyond repair that I couldn't wear them again without looking distorted through my shirts. For instance, I normally wear a 36 D, but the 38 C fits better. That said, it is a great bra that definitely supports you & makes you look good in your clothes. You will get better support wearing it as a racerback than regular. There is a definite difference as to where you adjust the straps.
