FEATURING 13 TOOLS: Needlenose Pliers, Regular Pliers, Hard-wire Cutters, Wire Cutters, 420HC Knife, Saw, Spring-action Scissors, Ruler, Tweezers, Bottle Opener, Phillips Screwdriver, Medium Screwdriver, Small Screwdriver.
CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUNGER USERS: The first Leatherman multi-tool created specifically for younger users and designed with safety as the #1 priority. The Leap includes safety locks that keep fingers from the path of the tools, a two-hand opening knife blade for safer deployment, and a secure grip designed to train users to properly and safely operate tools. It also comes with a user-installed knife blade that can be added by a parent when the user is ready for more responsibility.
OUTSIDE-ACCESSIBLE TOOLS: The Leap features tools that are accessible while the tool is in its folded or closed position, mimicking the functionality of a pocket knife. In addition, the Leap includes a hole designed in the body of the tool meant for attaching it safely and securely to a lanyard. Often people who work near water or on scaffolding attach their tool to a lanyard on their person to avoid losing the tool if it's dropped.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: The Leap's handle is constructed from glass filled nylon which allows for excellent durability without adding significant weight. The glass-filled nylon handle is so strong that an inner steel frame is not required, thereby reducing weight for a lighter every day carry.
LEATHERMAN 25 YEAR GUARANTEE: We take extraordinary measures so your Leatherman product is free from manufacturer's defects and will give you many years of dependable service. If the tool does have a defect, we will gladly repair or replace it, at our discretion. This warranty does not cover sheaths, accessories, imprinting, color finishes, cleaning or sharpening. This warranty covers products purchased through an authorized dealer and proof of purchase from an authorized dealer may be required.
