MEL 9 tape playing machine emulates the vintage Mellotron (tape playback type keyboard) sound using the same innovative technology as B 9, C 9, KEY 9 which won various awards.

MEL 9 has nine representative sounds:

Orchestra, Cello, Strings, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Brass, Low Choir and High Choir.

※ Mellotron (Mellotron) was developed in the 1960s, is an analog sample playback instrument with reproduction type magnetic tape as a medium.

The sound is reproduced by the method of reproducing the tone recorded with the pitch corresponding to the keyboard, so it was possible to play various sounds such as string instruments and wind instruments.

1. ORCHESTRA - Reproduce the sound of a full orchestra.

2. CELLO - This is the sound of a natural vibrato cello.

3. STRINGS - Quartet strings sound of natural vibrato.

4. FLUTES - featuring classical flute sounds used for recording various artists.

5. CLARINET - It is a clarinet sound that plays a wonderful sound even if you play with a single note or chords.

6. SAXOPHONE - It is a funky vintage British saxophone sound that is perfect for playing the Beatles-like lock phrase and matches the overdriven guitar tone.

7. BRASS - With a trumpet-like sound, playing the cord plays a wonderful brass sound.

8. LOW CHOIR - Chorus sound composed of many low voices.

9. HIGH CHOIR - It is a chorus sound composed of many high voices.

- Equipped with independent Effect volume control and Dry volume control, you can output your favorite mix from the Effect output.

· Outputs the input signal as unity gain from the Dry output.

· Attack control controls the speed at which the volume rises.

The volume goes up slowly as you turn it clockwise.

· Sustain control adjusts release time after stopping sound.

As you rotate it clockwise, the fade - out time becomes longer.
