The HC-V160 Full HD Camcorder from Panasonic makes it easy to capture your subjects in Full HD 1920x1080 resolution, whether far away or close-up. It features a wide-angle lens with a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 32.3mm and a large 38x optical and 77x intelligent zoom range for capturing far away subjects. To deliver clearer images, especially at long focal lengths, the camcorder has built-in image stabilization to help correct from shakes and jitters when shooting handheld. For easy operation without the hassle of manually controlling settings, an intelligent Auto (iA) mode is available that automatically adjusts image settings and activates functions for optimal results. In addition to video, the camcorder also takes up to 8.9 Megapixel still images.

32.3mm Wide-Angle Lens: The 32.3mm wide-angle (35mm equivalent) lens allows you to fit more people and more of the background into the frame when working in tight spaces. It fits your subjects in even when you shoot from up close, letting you get the camcorder's microphone closer to the action for improved audio pick up.

38x Optical Zoom and 77x Intelligent Zoom: Get closer to the action with the camcorder's large 38x optical zoom range. When you need to get even closer, you can push in up to 77x using the intelligent zoom function. Intelligent zoom combines digital zoom, sharpening, and advanced image up-scaling technology to deliver crisper images.

Image Stabilization: The Image stabilizer corrects for slight hand shakes and jitters, which can be especially pronounced in long zoom shots, and helps produces clearer images.

Backside Illuminated Sensor: A backside illuminated sensor is incorporated in the camcorder, letting you shot in lower light situations with reduced image noise.

iA (intelligent Auto): iA mode makes it easy to just grab the camcorder and begin shooting. It senses shooting conditions to automatically adjust settings and activate functions for optimal results.
