Broncolor RFS 2 Transmitter slides into the hot shoe of the camera. The flash is synchronized either via the central contact of the hot shoe or via a short cable to the camera. The miniature transmitter has 99 studio addresses for selective and wireless flash triggering, as well as a "test" button for direct triggering.The operating status of the transmitter, the studio address and the frequency channel are indicated on the large LCD display. Two additional buttons allow remote regulation of the power of all the controlled flash units directly from the transmitter.Outdoors or in large halls, the operating distance of the broncolor RFS 2 is up to 200 m, in closed rooms up to 50 m. The delay time is less than 400 microseconds.
