Tila the Textiles is owned and operated by Amber in Los Angels, CA. Tila is her dog. Everything she make is 100% one-of-a-kind. She loves using vintage WWII and Korean War military blankets. The wool is a rich distinctive color and malleable texture. Sometimes the blankets come with holes, stains, patches, stitching, cool old tags, making them all the more special. Her new favs are canvas army tents. She also love incorporating upcycled leather when possible. The garments are spirited and unique. She love unprecedented fabric combinations, lots of dimension, and pockets. They consist of new and upcycled components. The stitching is unique and dramatic. She is a self taught seamstress and designer and does not use patterns. All the designs come from a genuine place within her. Also, let us know if you have washing questions. All the garments are different so there is not a chart or tag about it although we suggest hand washing or dry cleaning only.
