My phone was stolen in a crowded place in Gothenburg, there were three culprits and they did the "dancing trick” on me. One distracted me while another carefully picked out my phone and gave it to the last in the back. Then they all suddenly disappeared around the corner into a dark alley. After tracking the pickpockets down with GPS and arriving with two police cars, we couldn’t do anything. Without having a warrant, the police was powerless once the culprits reached their safe-house (In this case their apartment). As a result, I never got my phone back.

We found that existing Bluetooth and GPS solutions might help you get your phone back once it had been stolen, but they proved to be ineffective and sometimes dangerous, because if I would have chased the thieves into the alley I probably would’ve lost more than my phone.
Until now, no product existed that actually prevented your phone from being stolen or lost in the first place.
We at Team C-Safe rose from the frustration and despair and decided to make a product that truly would protect our valuables from pickpockets. This is what we arrived at.

C-Safe is a patented world's first mechanical lock that can physically protect your Mobilephone Wallet and Valuables from pickpockets or dropping. The phone will stay attached to your pocket under your full control with no battery required, no charging! You won't need to check if your valuables are still there again... they are.
C-Safe connects automatically to the pocket when you put it in, and stays locked. To unlock, simply press your phone firmly downwards and C-Safe will release from its lock. This method makes it near impossible for any thief to take your phone unnoticed, while letting you take it out with ease in 1sec.
