PLEASE BE ADVISED - LCN has replaced the 4041 with the 4040XP series. It is basically the same closer as the 4040/4041 closer in shape and function. It has been internally modified to increased the pinion size and strength by over 20%. The size of bearings and pinion journal diameter has increased. The geometry on the pinion/piston teeth has been changed to better distribute the friction and load. The 4040XP is more durable while still maintaining the same template and installation process, and the arms are the same for the 4041 and 4040XP series closers.
