Warm Note: On uncoated light colored cardstock, the metallic effect is not visible, but the colors are still vivid and bright. The markers are also waterproof once they are dry. If you want to enhance the metallic effect, you can layer the ink again without smudging or smearing the old layer. On uncoated cardstock drying time is almost instantaneous. On coated cardstock the drying time is 15-20 minutes.
