Denon Professional’s DN-500C is a pro grade CD/MP3/WAV disc player complete with a retractable iPod dock and pitch capabilities.
Created to satisfy the demanding requirements of modern audio installations, the DN-500C allows greater control over a simple consumer CD player with playback capabilities tailored for pro use.
With helpful features such as ’power on play’ and a full 10 key numeric keypad that provides direct access to any track on the CD or program, the DN-500C is ready at a moment’s notice with Denon’s renowned performance and build quality. The DN-500C employs an on-board BPM counter which can be checked in conjunction with Pitch control USAge, and the Master Key function allows the original key of the music to be maintained while the tempo altered, useful for any musical or broadcast application.
The DN-500C allows for connectivity of a variety of external devices via its front mounted aux input, including: phones, MP3 players and more. If you have an iPod then you can simply dock it on the device’s media dock and easily playback files directly using the transport controls or included IR remote of the DN-500C.
When used with an iPhone/iPod touch there is a wealth of extra functionality that can be accessed through the Denon professional Pitch Control App (available to download from the App Store). Playback and control the iDevice’s audio via the apps intuitive layout which includes a touchscreen pitch or master key slider and full control of playback, track selection, cue and frame search.
