How to use iLucir
- Run iLucir app
- Enter your gender.
- Enter your weight in appropriate unit.
- Enter your height in appropriate unit.
- Enter four digits of your birth year. - Measurement
- Insert appropriate coin battery (CR2032, 3V) in the iLucir body fat analyzer.
- Connect a stereo cable to the body fat analyzer.
- Connect the other end of the stereo cable to the smartphone and verify whether LED light is illuminated.
- Increase the volume of smartphone to the maximum.
- Push “Measure” button on the app.
- For women, select your body type from either an apple type or pear type. Do not worry about it too much, just select a fruit similar your body type.
- If the smartphone and body fat analyzer are connected, then fully stretch your arms while holding it with four fingers (thumbs and forefingers) and push “Start” button. It shows your scanned body image and begins measuring. Do not move or talk for successful and accurate value.
- If the connection is failed, check whether the stereo cable is tightly connected between the smartphone and body fat analyzer, and check out LED illumination.
- Check out five measurement results such as body fat mass, body fat ratio, muscle mass, basic metabolism calorie and BMI.
- If you push the “Evaluate” button, you can see one body type (knockout body, ectomorph, mesomorph, endomorph, thin with obesity and etc.) out of 18 types for men and 36 types for women, and appropriate diet and exercise methods will be recommended.
- Select one out of weight, waist, hip, target weight, target waist, target hip and enter correct value. In order to continuously manager body composition, select “Body composition” and select one out of target body fat ratio or target muscle mass and enter target value. - Evaluation
- Evaluate your weight with the standard weight which is estimated by your height.
- BMI (Body Mass Index) is the index that estimates the body fat with height and weight.
- WHR (Waist Hip Ratio) evaluates abdominal obesity.
- Three methods above are general body type evaluation methods. Unlike the existing methods which only determine normality, iLucir subdivides body types into 18 types for men and 36 types for women including “knockout body”, “ectomorph (skinny type with well developed nervous system), mesomorph (muscle type with well developed muscle), endomorph (chubby type with well developed internal organs), determines your body type and recommends diet and exercise simply. - Records
- If you push ‘Body’ button on the upper part, you can view past records as a graph by selecting one out of weight, waist or hip.
- If you push ‘Body composition’ button, you can view past records as a graph by selecting one out of body fat mass, body fat ratio, muscle mass or basic metabolism calorie. - Ranking

- Export: In order to use Google docs, you have to log in to your Google(http://www.google.co.kr/) account. If you export it for backup, log in to ‘Records/Google Docs.’
- If sign-in is successful, push “Allow” button.
- “*.csv” file will be generated on the Google Docs list.
- If you click ‘Export’ file, then data will be saved as an Excel file type.
- Import: If you have exported before, ‘Import’ button is activated. Please note that previous information will be overwritten if you push ‘Import’ button. - Setup
- Password setup: If you want to set up a password, push ‘Settings/password’ button and enter four-digit password and push “Complete” button. If you want to edit the password, push “Edit” button and re-setup it.
- Set up measurement unit: Select either cm or ft for height, and select either kg, lb or st for weight. For circumference, select either cm or in.
- Selection of skin: Select one out of three skins below. If you match the color with the device, it may be better.
- Reset All: Delete all data and reset iLucir to the initial value.
