Coconut sugar is a source of minerals (notably potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron), vitamins (naturally-occurring Vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6, and Vitamins A and C) and 16 amino acids (highest of which is glutamine), known to maintain alkaline balance in the body and decrease the cravings for sweets and sugar.
