This 1670 anniversary ink by J. Herbin features Emerald of Chivor， a beautiful emerald green blue ink that contains gold flecks. Emeralds were said to be carried in the pocket of French sailor J. Herbin on his voyages as a good luck charm and have been treasured for centuries as protective talismans. Unmatched by other inks， each 50ml bottle is hand dipped in sealing wax and stamped with a 1670 seal on the front before being enclosed in a collector edition box. Perfect for fountain or dip pens. Made in France.
