It's a beautiful soft silver color, not near as dark it it looks in the below picture.It looks amazing at the foot of my bed for a little extra warmth. It's not heavy so it may be a little light for winter, but it's absolutely perfect for warmer seasons. I've been dragging it to my recliner so I'm here to buy more. I'm buying the blanket version for my bed and then more of these throws for my dogs as they've been all over it, too. The yellow medallion throws matched almost perfect to my living room furniture. The throws actually look like they came with the furniture. The size of these throws are about ten inches longer than standard throws which are often 50x60. So do keep in mind, these are a bit larger. These throws are thin, no doubt about that. There is nothing on the flip side. These are like one sheet of material sewn nicely at the edges. The material is extremely soft. The designs are beautiful and will dress up a boring room. My sofa is not small but a standard three seat size. This throw goes along the back perfectly. These are also nice to toss over you when sitting in a cool room. They wash well in cold water, gentle cycle or hand wash cycle, and dry on low. I don't use dryer sheets nor fabric softners with these.
