The "Evangelion New Theatrical Version" series is "Rebuild" (rebuilding) with animation "Neon Genesis Evangelion" (1995 - 1996) with new settings and stories.
This work is the third work following "Evangelion New Theatrical Version: Introduction" published in 2007, "Evangelion New Theatrical Version: Destruction" released in 2009.
The title "Q" was initially supposed to be "sudden" derived from the term "gagaku urgent" in Gagaku.
The first series in the series "Introduction" almost followed the story from the TV series No. 1 talk to the sixth episode, but from the second film "Break", from the TV series Episode 8 to the Ninpachi story
While adding to it, new characters, evangelion, apostles and others were added and shifted to the original story of "New Theatrical Version".
And in this work "Q", a different story is developed from the TV series and the old theater version, such as the battle of Nerv and the anti-Nerv 'organization Vire' in the world 14 years after the previous work.
