An audacious, assertive fragrance, created especially for Coco C hanel by C HANEL Master Perfumer Henri Robert in 1971. A rich blend of floral and green notes, followed by May Rose and Iris from Florence. The finale: a chime of Chypre with a subtle, woody Vetiver note.

Number 19 in the name refers to the birth date of Coco C hanel, August 19. The perfume was launched in 1970 when Coco C hanel was 87 years old, a year before she died. It was created by Henri Robert, a perfume creator which created many other perfumes of the C hanel house.

Number 19 is a floral-woody-green fragrance, a white and green floral harmony. It is a unique blend of light-heartedness and sophistication, not simply a different concentration, but an olfactory reinterpretation, which is faithful to the spirit and base notes of the original composition.
